SEREMBAN: Ampangan State Assemblyman (ADUN), Dato’ Tengku Zamrah Tengku Sulaiman was present at the Arena Premier Hotel, Seremban to attend the Engagement Session and Presentation of the Sungai Linggi Integrated River Basin Development Project Phase 5, Negeri Sembilan.
Tengku Zamrah said this is a major initiative under the Ministry of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA) through the Negeri Sembilan Irrigation and Drainage Department.
“This session is a platform for consensus between government agencies, technical parties and stakeholders in planning development that is centered on the well-being of nature and the balance of people’s lives.
“This project worth more than RM101 million will be a landmark in efforts to prevent floods and beautify the river ecosystem as a whole, for the benefit of current and future generations.
“In the spirit of MADANI Malaysia, this sustainable development is not just a matter of infrastructure, but a symbol of the determination to build a civilization that is harmonious between humans and nature.
“Hopefully this effort will be a blessing, purify the river of life and bring prosperity to all the people of Negeri Sembilan Darul Khusus,” said Tengku Zamrah.
