Actions Are Being Taken To Address The Flooding Problem In Kampung Baru Sirusa

BAGAN PINANG: Action is being taken to overcome the flash flood problem in Kampung Baru Sirusa.

Bagan Pinang Assemblyman-elect Dato Mohd Faizal Ramli said that he, along with JPS Port Dickson officers and Kampung Baru Sirusa JPKK Chairman, have inspected several river locations in the village for repairs following the frequency of flash floods recently.

“Apart from the higher than usual rainfall factor, there are also other factors such as development in the surrounding area.

“JPS has already taken action to apply for additional allocations for river bank repair work.

“Hopefully this allocation application will be approved immediately, so that projects to reduce the risk of floods in the future can be implemented immediately,” said Mohd Faizal, who is also Linggi Assemblyman.
